Out of Africa has been a registered business with Bergen County, NJ since 1992.

We are dedicated to providing our customers with high quality African Cichlids along with how to house and care for them.

Our fish are either bred here by us or purchased from a highly experienced breeder. A few of our species are imported from Africa.

• Photos are of the actual breeders the fish are from, or the actual fish that are or have been for sale.
• Selective Breeding and Wild Imports have been a key to the high quality of our fish.
• The  flake foods we provide are highly recommended as they greatly reduce typical problems from other foods such as bloating. They are also great natural color enhancers.
